Troop 4 is one of the oldest chartered Boy Scout troops in the western United States. In June 2003, we celebrated 90 years of continuous operation with our sponsor, Westminster Presbyterian Church. Our Scout room and other facilities are located in the church building at 1757 North Lake Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91004. With 80 to 100 Scouts enrolled throughout the year, we are also one of the largest troops in the San Gabriel Valley Council.

We had a great weekend of hiking, rock climbing, orienteering, star gazing and just general comradery at Joshua Tree. Click on our friendly visitor on the left and take a look at the photos. If you have more photos to share, please bring me a CD or email me a few and I’ll be glad to add them.

Also, mark your calendars for next year for “Halloween at Joshua Tree”. We have all five sites again for October 31st to November 2nd! And since we will be coming off a new moon just a few days earlier, we should once again have a great night of star gazing. Hopefully Dave can make it again!

There have been only two official artists in the history of the BSA - Joseph and his mentor, Norman Rockwell.

Troop4.net has a totally new look and design! This new website will make it easier for others in the troop to contribute content to the website. The design utilizes the WordPress web publishing system used by many websites around the world.
