We had a great weekend of hiking, rock climbing, orienteering, star gazing and just general comradery at Joshua Tree. Click on our friendly visitor on the left and take a look at the photos. If you have more photos to share, please bring me a CD or email me a few and I’ll be glad to add them.

Also, mark your calendars for next year for “Halloween at Joshua Tree”. We have all five sites again for October 31st to November 2nd! And since we will be coming off a new moon just a few days earlier, we should once again have a great night of star gazing. Hopefully Dave can make it again!

In the right column of most pages on Troop4.net, you will see a selection of the latest news and information from the BSA National Website, “What’s Hot at National”. This list is updated automatically as new content is added to the National website. Checkout the Official Artist of the BSA link, a multi-media message on “The Values of Scouting” from Joseph Csatari, an Assistant Scoutmaster and the Official Artist of the Boy Scouts of America. There have been only two official artists in the history of the BSA - Joseph and his mentor, Norman Rockwell.

Troop4.net has a totally new look and design! This new website will make it easier for others in the troop to contribute content to the website. The design utilizes the WordPress web publishing system used by many websites around the world.
