Troop 4 recently held its final Court of Honor for 2013. Mr. Zuniga introduced the theme of the meeting as “Renewal” as in our Centennial Celebration, Troop re-chartering, Trail to Scouting, and the Troop’s recruitment effort. Scoutmaster Rod Scott told us that Eric Cheng achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
Assistant Scout Master and Eagle Scout, Max Zeronian, presented Robert Jorgenson with his Gold Eagle Palm. 30 scouts achieved a new rank and are now one step closer to the coveted rank of Eagle Scout, while 70 scouts were awarded 222 merit badges. High Adventure awards were also awarded. Scouts were recognized for achieving 20, 40, 60, and 80 nights of camping as well as numerous hiking awards.
The Court of Honor ended with a tribute to Rob Mikuriya, the Committee Chairman for the last few years. The summer of 2013 was a busy one for Troop 4.
