What:  Youth Protection Training (YPT) and Position-specific training

• BSA Adult Leader training requirements for fully trained adult leaders (scoutmaster, assistant scoutmaster, committee chair or member, and merit badge counselor) are on the BSA website.  Scroll to the section titled “Position-Specific (Role-Based) Courses” and click the link for “More Information”.
• YPT  and other online courses are at www.my.scouting.org.  YPT is renewed every 2 years.
• In person courses are offered by the Greater Los Angeles Area Council.
