Wednesday, July 11th – Day 1
After a four-hour drive in 100° heat, and a few welcomed thunder showers, the scouts arrived at Horseshoe Meadows Campground above Lone Pine, CA.

Scouts from Troop 4 performed the Flag Ceremony for a large crowd gathered for the Annual meeting of the California School Nutrition Association this last Friday, November 9. The event was held in the historic Pasadena Civic Center Auditorium . The following Scouts performed the ceremony with honor and respect not only representing Troop 4 in a great way but also the Boy Scouts of America. Thanks to Adam, Ben, Caleb, Charles, Ethan, Tyler, Max and Nathan for an outstanding job. Mark Riebs from Council called the audience to attention and punctuated the ceremony as he played his Bugle.

Wilderness First Aid
Recently, four T4 Assistant Scout Masters, Mr. Emerson, Mr. White, Mrs. Taylorson and Mr. Taylorson completed their Wilderness First Aid certification.

Thousands of Scouts have been a part of Troop 4 over the years. We are proud of all of these Scouts. The most important accomplishment they all had while they were in Troop 4 was they were all Boy Scouts and a part of the Scouting tradition here that dates back to 1913.
